Overheating Ford Ka
This car was presented with an overheating issue and it was immediately evident that the cooling system was being pressurised. The head gasket had failed catastrophically connecting the cylinder pressure with the cooling system. Unfortunately, when dismantled and examined, the cylinder head was severely distorted. The photographs show it took several passes on the milling machine to achieve a flat surface. Following this, the cylinder head was washed and rebuilt before being refitted.
